ABOUT ME
I fell in love with travel as an18-year-old during a summer trip to Europe when I realized a wealth of history, culture, cuisine, and novel experiences was a mere airplane flight away. Since then, travel has been very important for me and my family.
But, travel is not cheap and I quickly became interested in finding ways to save money. My interest in budget travel spurred me to write two guidebooks geared to travel costs and logistics, Paris Optimizer and London Optimizer. Over time, I learned more and more about utilizing loyalty programs and credit card rewards and the surprising benefits they offered for my family.
Over the past eight years, through these programs, I have generated over $11,000 per year in free travel. This has included 18 round trip international flights (including some business class flights), over 100 hotel nights, and almost 50 domestic round trip flights. Almost all this free travel was based on credit card spending. To put it simply, this approach has allowed our family to enjoy vacations that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive.
In the past few years, I have started sharing what I have learned about budget travel with friends and family. And now, I would like to help others utilize travel rewards programs to see more of the world with less expense. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you prepare for years of travel.
